24Glory

Worshiping God and seeking his glorious manifest presence.

24Glory is thousands of groups loving and honouring God – especially through praise, worship and thanksgiving – who are earnestly seeking his face, and learning to live-in and enjoy, his glorious (and miraculous) manifest presence.

The original inspiration for 24Glory came from King David...

Out of his great love for God and his intense desire for his glorious presence, King David had 5,000 people giving continuous praise, thanksgiving and worship to Yahweh (in shifts) — 24 hours a day, for over thirty years.

In the last few years, Michael's lifetime dream to do something similar has become a wonderful reality and is continuing to grow rapidly... We now have thousands of groups in schools, churches, homes or anywhere, who are regularly participating in 24Glory and basking in God's awesome presence.

24Glory Objectives

There are three main objectives for 24Glory...

To love and honour God as true worshippers — united in a continuous, worldwide offering of praise, worship and thanksgiving.
To seek God's face — and holy intimacy with Father, Yeshua and the Holy Spirit.
To learn to live-in and enjoy the fullness of God's glorious, manifest presence.

When the Lord's Presence Appears

Jesus can never be put in a box – it's never exactly the same from one meeting to the next. Sometimes his presence may be very gentle – imparting a beautiful peace as if in a still, quiet meadow. Other times, people may be crying, repenting and falling to the floor.

His presence is sometimes accompanied by spontaneous healing, deliverance, repentance and salvation. Other times people may be completely immersed in the Holy Spirit and may be given any of his wonderful gifts.

Nearly always, most people will have a strong sense of his presence – whether through shaking, falling down, repentance, supernatural peace, breezes, visions, feelings of heat or electricity, healing, or whatever the Lord chooses to do.

There may also be much stronger occurrences – such as angels appearing (sometimes many and all different kinds). Others may have encounters with Jesus, or have heaven or throne-room experiences. There may be restorative healing, whirlwinds, waves of glory, and people giving their lives to Jesus.

There is no limit to what God might do for those who love him and persist in seeking him!

A Typical 24Glory Meeting

Meetings may occur in homes, schools, churches, board rooms, convention centres, under the stars, or just about anywhere. They may also last anything from one hour to a week, and may or may not include supper or a shared meal. They are pretty much however the Holy Spirit leads and according to the circumstances — so in a sense, there is no such thing as a typical meeting.

However, there are certain consistencies, such as an abundance of praise, worship and thanksgiving; seeking God's face; repentance and forgiveness.

In a two-hour meeting, it might go something like this...

It starts with lively singing while everyone arrives, gets settled and gets in the groove (so to speak).

This may be followed by a welcome, opening prayer and some testimonials.

Next, there is usually some more lively music, singing and dancing.

As the music transitions into deeper worship, the Holy Spirit may lead us into a time of repentance and forgiveness, and of offering ourselves to the Lord, before continuing with more worshipful singing.

Between songs, there may be times of worship in both English and tongues, or of spontaneous praise and thanksgiving (prompted by individuals as they are moved by the Spirit).

We speak out and/or sing our request and love for more of God's glorious, manifest presence, and that our eyes (and all of our senses) would be opened to see and experience his glory.

Then, holding on to this thought and loving desire, we have a time of silence or soft music – waiting on the Lord in full and joyful expectation of his glorious, manifest presence (which always increases the more we seek him).

When the Lord reveals his presence – you'll know!

Whatever he does may continue until the end of the meeting (especially in large open meetings, or when the glory is so strong that no-one can get up to do anything).

If we are not too "undone" by God's presence, we invite people to share what they have just experienced so that everyone can be even more encouraged.

While the presence of God is still strong, we normally offer prayer for anyone who wants healing, etc. – but only in a spirit of praise and thanksgiving (as though it's a done deal) – and in joyful expectation of God's absolute goodness in the situation.

Who Can Do 24Glory?

Any group of Christians can start 24Glory (you can even do it on your own), and you can choose for yourselves whether it will be a closed group – such as the students of a particular school, the members of a home group, or the board members of a business – or whether it will be open to the public.

Some churches put up signs inviting the public to come in and experience the presence and miraculous power of Jesus – with some very powerful results...

It is common for people to come in off the street and be completely overcome by the presence and power of God. Without anyone asking, they may be healed of anything from blindness to HIV-AIDS, or they may experience deliverance. Some may fall down in spontaneous repentance and call out their need for God. (In this case, if the Lord does not lead them directly, someone should lead them to salvation. They may also be completely filled with the Holy Spirit and start speaking in tongues.)
